Nurture is a collaborative cookbook that weaves together the voices of a father and son. Part memoir and part recipe collection, the book tells the story of Pietro Scotti, a chef born and raised in Ischia, Italy, through the defining chapters of his life. Each section features an essay crafted from interviews with Pietro, paired with recipes that reflect the flavors and experiences shaping his journey. The design of the book mirrors its intimate and personal nature. Each chapter is visually distinct, featuring found photos from his archives as well as photographs taken from a trip to the island that. The result is a book that feels as comforting and nourishing as the meals
